Immaculata University Hosts ‘An Evening with Jon Dorenbos’ in Partnership with Chester County Intermediate Unit

Immaculata University hosted an enchanting evening of magic, inspiration, and entertainment as Jon Dorenbos took center stage in “An Evening with Jon Dorenbos.”

The event, which was held on Feb. 16, was organized in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and Immaculata University to provide entertainment
with a meaningful message.

Former longtime Philadelphia Eagle player and now world-renowned magician and motivational speaker Jon Dorenbos captivated the audience with his extraordinary blend of magic, storytelling, and charisma. The event showcased Dorenbos’ unique talents, both on and off the football field, providing the audience with an intimate look into Dorenbos’ heart-rending story of
compassion, forgiveness, and grit.


Throughout the evening, Dorenbos shared his inspiring story, weaving together his experiences as a long snapper in the NFL with his magical prowess. More than just a show, the event was an opportunity for attendees to witness the magic of Dorenbos and to be inspired by his transformative journey from adversity to resilience, exemplifying the human capacity to persevere through life’s challenges.

The Chester County Intermediate Unit is an educational agency providing quality, cost-effective services to the community and its residents. It does this by providing instructional, enrichment, and administrative programs and services to Chester County’s 12 public school districts and over 45 private and parochial schools in the county. These programs include instructional, remedial, and enrichment services for regular and special education students. Other IU services support teachers, school administrators, and school directors. The diversity of CCIU programs enables IU staff to interact with school district personnel at all levels and to maintain a cohesive educational network throughout Chester County.
